Dr. Katharina Fung
Dr. Kat grew up in Illinois in a family of dentists, but her love for art, esthetics, and building relationships led her to orthodontics.
She attended Tufts University for college, dental school, and residency, where she met her husband, Dr. Philip. They were paired as partners during training and found that working together fuels their creativity, making patient care both fun and fulfilling. They eloped in Lake Tahoe and knew in that moment that this would be their forever home.
On her days away, she loves going on adventures with her husband and daughter, Kaia, exploring new restaurants and experiences in Reno.
Board-Certified Orthodontist
Dr. Philip Rutkowski
Dr. Philip grew up in Michigan and discovered his passion for transforming smiles early on. He attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry before working as a general dentist, where he developed a deep appreciation for patient care.
He later pursued orthodontics, meeting Dr. Kat during residency at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where they became partners in training and in life. Dr. Philip oves building relationships with his patients and seeing their confidence grow throughout treatment.
In his spare time, he enjoys exploring the outdoors, spending time with his family, and cheering on Michigan Football as a diehard Wolverine Fan.
